My Alaska Home
I have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world for work and for leisure. For a long time, my goal was to get as far away as possible from the United States, feeling disenchanted with "home". Alaska was the first place I ever went back to, and each time I came, I stayed longer. Eventually this culminated into making Juneau, Alaska my home. Southeast Alaska is my favorite place in the world for the diversity of wildlife, the rich culture, and one of the few places on Earth where ice meets the forest. I can hike, paraglide, ski, and dive all on the same day, and while the winters are dark and stormy, the summer makes them worth it. Enjoy this selection of images from my favorite place on the planet, my home.
